A lawyer for the court order has requested that he be permanently removed from office.On Monday, Angelique Cabral filed documents on behalf of the actress in the Superior Court of California.
In the documents, Cabral states that Ramos claims to be the conservatee’s “longtime friend” and was able to ingratiate himself into her life while she had dementia.
When he became aware that the conservatee lacked capacity, he attempted to remove her from the state of California to marry her.
Despite insisting that they were not romantically involved, McClurg accused Ramos of sexually assaulting her caregiver ‘on more than one occasion – with a police report filed over the alleged incident.
According to the paperwork, “the court allowed Mr. Ramos to remain in the conservatee’s residence since it believed he would provide her companionship and the conservatee did not object at the time.”
It should be noted that Mr Ramos and the conservatee have never been in a romantic relationship (they live in separate quarters), and caregivers are present 24 hours a day.
An elder or dependent adult in need of protection was served with notice against Ramos, and a hearing is scheduled for August 25.
